Hey everybody, welcome to Online Growth Systems. In today's article, we are interviewing Dominik Lipinski, an online growther, and he is a personal development coach. He is a Youtuber and is also writing books. Dominik is in the businesses where he helps other entrepreneurs take their events and their minds to the next level.
Today, you are going to get a gold nugget from interview highlights and use that to get your company top of the click list. Before we start distributing that, let’s hear about what prompted Dominik to become an entrepreneur.
Dominik grew up in Poland and moved to the United States in 2005. Coming from Europe to America, the land of opportunity, changed the lifestyle of Dominik.
Dominik says in the interview, “I’ve always had the ability to have the foresight of the future and also at the same time I've always seemed to hang out with people who are at least 2 to 3 years older than me… today I hang out with people that are much older than me, mostly my business mentors”.
Dominik helped his mother in the direct sales business. He saw regular people earning more than thousand dollars and he thought “This is something…”. He was also a very good student, and he thought he needed to know everything before taking any action.
Which leads us to the first tip to grow your business: Acquiring the Knowledge
👉 Acquiring the Knowledge: If you are willing to take action in business, it’s necessary to know about the first few layers of your business. You know about this; I know about that; they know something else. Everyone around has some kind of knowledge, but how can you become a better entrepreneur through knowledge? There are two primary ways to gain and use knowledge:
1. Traditional Learning: Dominik said in the interview, a few days ago he needed to talk with an attorney. He needed an attorney who could help him to understand what they were discussing, because it was a legal process which can be a little bit complicated. That’s increased Dominik’s knowledge, right? So as an entrepreneur, it’s necessary to connect with the system which continuously increases your knowledge though traditional learning.
2. Experiential learning: By learning new skills from past experiences, you can use them in business to improve the company every day. These can be experiences of your own or those of others. For example, Dominik knew from the beginning that he would not work for anyone.
👉 Setting a Mindset:
In college, Dominik’s friends graduated with good grades, but he never really paid attention. Yet, they had a tough time getting jobs, and he thought something was wrong in that mindset. For example when he would graduate, the competition would be much higher, so at the age of 19, without knowing anything about business, he got into medicinal drug sales. That allowed Dominik to learn communication and marketing. He learned how to treat people, lead people, have communication skills to master the sales skills. Dominik never prompted to say he mastered skills. He prefers it a part of the learning process which we are going to do in our whole life. Saying you have mastered a skill can often deter you from learning more about it. That’s a nugget too.
Dick also includes this amazing thing in there, that you can’t actually pinpoint things in your life. For example, why you are traveling so much? Because it's a collection of so much knowledge and so many skills that you've just honed over the years, and it does not just happen overnight.

One of my favorite things I liked in this interview is when Dominik mentioned he liked to think that he knows nothing. He said, “the moment we say that we think we know everything, then it automatically blocks the ability to receive new information.”
👉 Taking Advantages of Mentor-ship: Dominik was talking with his friend about a person he would be willing meet and hang out with. His friend was mentored by the person, and she was telling Dominik how incredible the mentor is. He heard about some big-time people who're out there that could mentor him. Dominik said, “no matter what, I know that there are people out who know more than I do. And at the moment, they can teach you something.” So, everyone should take advantage of mentorships.
👉 Meditation: Meditation allows you to become aware of where your mind goes when you are not intentionally thinking. Dominik says that the trick to meditation is not trying to control thoughts but to have no control over your thoughts. It’s not about wanting to control your mind because that's almost impossible. It's about being aware of what happens with your mind when it isn’t thinking about anything else. Let your mind relax and flow wherever it wants.
📈 Must Do Exercise for an Entrepreneur
Whatever it is that you're resisting doing, there are three things to get the grip on them.
First Step: So, you need to buy yourself a notebook. Every time you need to do something that you are resisting, you will see an image in your mind. You need to write that down in your notebook. Second, write the emotion that accompanied the image, and three,write down your thought afterwards. So this is the sequence:
image → emotions → thoughts.
When someone starts to write these things down, they will start to see a pattern, and that’s the brand Dominik Creating. This will enlighten people.
👉 Level of Pride: Dominik Mentioned one guy he is helping, who was already a great coach. He wanted to help him to make more money, but the person was already a great salesperson, because he achieved some results. And for that, he has a level of pride. When you have a level of pride in your life, it ends up slowing you down. There is never a point when you can’t learn something new. The person told Dominik that he can teach him something that he doesn’t know, because he already reached the top level of knowledge. But that’s not what you do in entrepreneurship and personal development. You can leave the level of pride, and encourage a person to take you to the next level.
👉 Two ideas from Warren Buffett: Two things we know from Warren Buffett to grow business is marketing and innovation. So, think about it, when you go to a live event you already know what’s you are missing. That’s called a backward psychology that’s event owners have. They are missing a few key components, and one is innovation. They are not innovating; they are spending all the time and the energy on the marketing power. The marketing and advertising dollars bring clients through their process and take them to the live event. But from the live event, they get ten maybe fifteen percent client. But Dominik describes how they can get more clients from his strategies.
📊 Double Your Event Sales:
Dominik says, “Our company guaranteed to double your event sales from what you are previously used to. We often times triple them, and I've almost quadrupled them for a client” How? Because they offer one-to-one coaching. Why clients come to a live event? Because obviously they need help, so they start, “hey do you need more business sales from the event? So, why don’t we implement the one-on-one training which will guarantee double your sales”. So, if you want to double your sales in event business , you should start implementing one-on-one training. This will make the customer feel special and lead you sales and referrals.
👉 Delivering Values: When people come to an event, most people are afraid to ask for help. So when you can provide help that double or triple sales, that’s a WIN-WIN situation. That comes from delivering values and positive feedbacks. Dominik shared a story of a client which he took from normal sales to 10X sales. If you build a relationship with a client and have good results, they can actually refer you to your next client. This way you show good results to new clients and tell them you could do this for them. They will be more interested in that then anything else you could show them. Results do not lie!. Dominik also mentioned one of his client who brought Kylie Jenner to his events. He also came from a referral. He liked Dominik’s work and became interested to be in business together.
✅ Ask Your Audiences: In your business, you want to ask your audience to check out your content. It could be signing up on your website or entering a chance to get a free book. Ask them to join your Facebook group, follow your Instagram or Twitter. Encourage audience participation! It is so important and builds lasting relationships.
Dick asked Dominik a few questions,
“How did you take somebody from good to great? For example, a specific client that you've taken and doubled their events sales?” Dominik given an example of Nick Unsworth; who is from San Diego. Look up “Nick Unsworth and Dominic Lipinski testimony” in YouTube you'll find the actual testimony! He heard about Dominik’s work. He received success from the event, and Dominik helped him to get big time result.
